John W Partington is a Canadian writer living in Ottawa, Ontario. He was a soldier for fifteen years in the Canadian Forces. After completing one tour of duty in Haiti (1996) he suffered a bout of mental illness which resulted in a medical discharge from the Canadian Forces. Writing will always be his first love. His wife is his true love. He has been writing for most of his life: as a child, as a soldier, and now as an independent author. His favourite colour is purple. He has two cats, who choose to annoy him most when trying to write.
